  Colobus in a red-hot pepper forest.jpg - The inspiration for this painting was initially a bowl of spaghetti.I was painting a Colobus monkey at the time but was disatissfied with the conventional look of the surrounding forest. The spaghetti provided the idea for a curling, looping, impenetrable forest with Colobus monkeys living within it. The red designs look like chili peppers hence the title.
